On the drive back from Cape May, I stopped in to see dear friends and feloow poets, Maya Stein and Amy Tingle of The Creativity Caravan (formerly Food For the Soul Train). Just in time to guest with them at the Slam Poetry Festival in Nutley. Who knew there was a Slam Poetry Festival in Nutley?? These two women are so inspiring. Tireless in their mission to create spaces in which poeple can experience themselves as creative, collaborative, artful beings. I'm blessed to be in their tribe.
